So I'm surprised how comfortable it is being perpetually underground in Core Keeper. Part of it is the charming art and animation, along with the dynamic lighting effects. Increased chest rewards and a higher chance for rarer fish enhance the looting experience. The update also improves mechanics, like increasing projectile hit radius and merchant interactions.

The workbenches chain from one to the next, as players progress through biomes and their ores. There is pelo requirement to beat bosses, initially. The Core:

I only did the first 3 bosses, which anyone who has played the game will know Core Keeper Gameplay that that is a fairly small part of the game, and the defeat of the third boss unlocks a good chunk of the game. The first 2 bosses were a breeze, which we were able to defeat within the first try. They would unlock useful NPCs when killed, but their loot was often not altering the game in a meaningful way, a couple more inventory slots is all I can remember.

Core Keeper is a clever, challenging, and immensely enjoyable sandbox mining game that's a blast to play. You can completely change how you play for a new experience, there are a lot of bosses and areas to explore, and the joy of finding a new item or new area is never lost.

In open world games with a day-night cycle, I'll hop in bed when it gets sun sets and fast-forward to morning. I don't like caves, I don't like mines, I don't like gloom. This isn't true of me in real life, but in games I'm just an outdoorsy, daytime person.

Using your Pickaxe, break up the wood logs surrounding the Core. Craft a couple of basic Chests from your inventory and place them so you can store excess items. Then craft a Basic Workbench and interact with it.
